The Strike Force HD Apex is a weatherproof, motion-activated trail camera that records HD videos (1600 x 900 HD+) and 18MP images onto an SD card (up to 512 GB SDXC memory cards supported). It utilises a passive infrared (PIR) sensor that activates the camera whenever motion is sensed within its monitoring range. Records images and videos in full colour during the day and records in black and white at night using infrared LED illumination that is almost invisible to humans and wildlife.

This updated version of a very popular model now features an amazing 0.22 second trigger speed and 0.6 second recovery time between pictures ensuring that nothing will be missed. Picture quality is 18MP and HD video clips are very high resolution 1600 x 900 with sound and can be set to record for between 5 seconds to 2 minutes. At night, illumination is provided by low-glow infrared LEDs and the detection range is 24m with an IR flash range of 30.5m. ‘Illuma-Smart Technology’ automatically adjusts IR Flash for seamless night photos and the Strike Force APEX also has a manually adjustable night-time IR flash range to optimise battery life and provide images of superior quality. Settings are changed via a small LCD screen on the front of the camera, which is bright and easy to follow with black text on a green background. You can capture up to 8 multishot images and 4 rapid-fire images as well as set a time-lapse with the Strike Force HD Apex Timelapse Plus camera mode. The delay between pictures is adjustable (between 1 second to 1 hour) and the picture info bar shows time, date, temperature, moon phase, and camera ID. Other features include SD card management options and Smart IR video which continues to record during daylight when triggered. The camera is powered by x6 AA batteries (included in starter bundle) and pictures are stored on an SD card (up to 512GB SDXC, not included). The case size is compact, just 11.43cm x 8.26cm x 6.35cm and is finished with a highly effective camo print exterior. 

This camera is also available as a starter bundle which includes the trail camera, 8 x lithium AA batteries and a 32GB SD card.
